Overview:
This is for both the Port and Starboard Bow navigation lights, as well as the stern white light.
LED Strips measure just shy of 6" and 4" on the white, and have a total of 9 and 6 total LEDs per strip.
Instead of using heat shrink to seal the connection (WHICH IS NOT WATERPROOF), we use a flexible vulcanized rubber connection.  This ensures the smallest possible seal, while maintaining weather and electrical resistance.
IP-68 (Protected against continuous immersion in water) rated strips. Since they're going on a boat, it makes sense to make them waterproof, not just water resistant like the other sellers.
After stripping the backside of the horrible standard gooey tape, we replace it with 3M Double Sided Weatherproof tape. This tape is MUCH more heat resistant than the stock stuff, holds more per unit area than the stock stuff, and will keep the strip in place for years to come.

Description:

Backside 3M weatherproof double sided tape (Scotch 414).
